In light of the release of Wind Waker HD, I drew one of my favorite moments from the game!
What strikes me most about the Zelda series is how a small boy can summon the courage to venture to such vast and immense places. The sheer contrast between the tower of the gods and link really summarizes the sense of wonder in these games.

Seeing Zelda discussion on my dash so-
Zelda is generally a good character. She usually drives the story in some fashion and does cool things and is likeable. As a character on her own she is good and interesting and proactive isn’t a stock damsel in distress. But as a fan of the series it IS getting a little exhausting that she does get kidnapped in every game she’s in? (Or at least that I’ve played.)
It seems like there are plenty of stories that could be written about Zelda that don’t feature her getting kidnapped at some point. I guess having her be kidnapped near the end places her in the position to be present during the climax of the story, (OOT, WW, SS, TP) which does kind of work, but I bet it would also be possible for her to just… appear at the climax of a story of her own accord in a satisfying way too.
(I guess she doesn’t really get kidnapped in Twilight Princess, Ganondorf just ends up with her body for some reason somehow.)
Ehh I don’t think I’m ever going to get around to polishing this up further.
