I’ve been looking up a lot of Wind Waker screen shots to use as colour references and mainly what I’ve gathered is that the Wind Waker HD colours are horrible.
Someone with the game, does that neon bloom ever go away? Like, does the final product actually look like that because that is just awful colour and lighting, like someone left the Gamecube Wind Waker on the shelf for ten years and now you get to play the weird dusty sunbleached version.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels that way. I would have loved to play a sharpened up, hi def version of Wind waker, but it feels like they basically wrecked it in the process. :/
I was walking down the street and then I suddenly realized Tetra means four and Hylia is the secret fourth goddess and I stopped walking.
Seeing Zelda discussion on my dash so-
Zelda is generally a good character. She usually drives the story in some fashion and does cool things and is likeable. As a character on her own she is good and interesting and proactive isn’t a stock damsel in distress. But as a fan of the series it IS getting a little exhausting that she does get kidnapped in every game she’s in? (Or at least that I’ve played.)
It seems like there are plenty of stories that could be written about Zelda that don’t feature her getting kidnapped at some point. I guess having her be kidnapped near the end places her in the position to be present during the climax of the story, (OOT, WW, SS, TP) which does kind of work, but I bet it would also be possible for her to just… appear at the climax of a story of her own accord in a satisfying way too.
(I guess she doesn’t really get kidnapped in Twilight Princess, Ganondorf just ends up with her body for some reason somehow.)
Ehh I don’t think I’m ever going to get around to polishing this up further.
