Ghooost Trick toys!
Made from a mini munny and a micro trikky, super sculpey and lots of acrylic paint.
I also entered these guys into the MUNNYMUNTH comp in the ‘Best Pop Culture’ category so I’d love votes if you like them! Vote here!
These are done! A low res iPhone ~preview shot~ for now until I can borrow my sister’s camera and take some fancy ones!
Overall, these aren’t my best - the paint got really messy in places so under close scrutiny they don’t hold up brilliantly. And in future I would be way more careful about sculpting something as crazy large as sissel’s hair. Also I did a terrible job smoothing the sculpey into the munny in some spots (forehead, cheeks). As always, lessons learned.
But in the end I am really happy with how they look as a unit standing together on my desk, so all’s well that ends well!
(My only wish is that I could have made missile but there isn’t really a munnyworld base that would work for him and I don’t really know how one would sculpt all that fluff.)
EDIT: OH, OH ALSO, screw you yellow, you are the worst colour.
Realising your munny’s ears are completely lopsided because you squished them at some point during baking.
How did I only notice this now!?
OUTTAKES
Sigma is still looneyvoltage
Brooch I made for this weekend’s Phi cosplay.
It’s just sculpey, and I used fishing line and resin to get that ‘inexplicably floating pieces’ effect.
Black jack wig
Ahaha there’s no black on the back of the white side toooo baaaaad
Wig before and after
Wig styling is really haaaard!! And this wig has a weirdly thick hairline at the front so I can’t get the fringe to sit nicely.
But good enough, because I can’t imagine fiddling with it will make it anything but worse
This is the outfit I wore to the Zelda symphony! I want to take some nicer photos of it at some stage, but here it is. I also wore Triforce earrings and my bracelet has the sage’s medallions from OOT on it (from Rimon!!)
I’m pretty psyched that I made a totally normal item of clothing (the dress) that I can actually wear!
Symphony of the Goddesses was totally amazing by the way. Not sure why I haven’t gushed about it on Tumblr yet.
