I have to ask: did you make your TARDIS yourself? It is absolutely gorgeous! I'd also like to make one in the same fashion and was wondering if you used any specific guidelines? Thank you! :)

I made the TARDIS skirt myself! I used a pattern, Butterick B5613. The tables at the bottom of that page should tell you exactly how much fabric you would need to make the same skirt in your size! Though it is slightly confusing if you haven’t read a pattern before. I made skirt A with no sash, so I needed about 1.8m, but I bought three yards because the website that sells the fabric is all in yards and I wanted some extra in case I cut something out backwards or ruined it in some other comical way.
Check their size chart to figure out what size you are, it won’t necessarily be the same as your normal clothing size.
You’ll note that it rates the pattern as ‘very easy’ so now you can all stop being impressed :B
